TITLE: VP of Operations, Innovation, and Corporate Development

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: CEO

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In collaboration with the CEO, develop, implement, and execute growth strategies for premier provider of product handling and site logistics services
  • P&L responsibility for current site-based operations
  • Provide leadership and support to multiple teams of highly qualified professionals and skilled laborers
  • Manage customer relationships at the site and corporate level
  • Maintain safety and operational excellence by focusing on preventive, corrective, and predictive factors for continuous improvement
  • Maintain and promote the company’s award-winning culture to produce a superior customer and employee experience
  • Identify technology and innovation opportunities to enhance value

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

&#8226    BS in engineering 
&#8226    10+ years in refining or chemical manufacturing operations
&#8226    Commensurate experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
&#8226    Demonstrated ability to identify, promote and execute a vision of leadership
&#8226    History of success in managing people to achieve operational excellence 
&#8226    Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
&#8226    Comfortable in plant and corporate settings 
&#8226    Willing to travel.
&#8226    Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.

 Preferred

&#8226    Master of Business Administration
&#8226    Knowledgeable in site-based logistics e.g. rail, truck, marine, warehouse, tank farm
&#8226    Experience directing multiple high-performing teams
