POSITION TITLE: Spill Response Supervisor

COMPENSATION: Competitive salary DOE

LOCATION: Houston, TX 

SUMMARY: Supervise and manage a team of workers performing various industrial tasks, including hydro blasting, spill response, air machine operation, and hydro excavation.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily work activities, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulations
• Conduct pre-job briefings and safety meetings to communicate job expectations, hazards, and safety protocols
• Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety standards
• Operate and maintain industrial equipment, including hydro blasting units, air machines, and hydro excavation systems
• Respond to spill incidents and oversee containment and cleanup efforts, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations
• Perform inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
• Maintain accurate records of work activities, equipment usage, and maintenance activities
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and support for ongoing projects
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and emergency procedures

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in spill response
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Valid TWIC Card.
• P&L experience preferred
• Certification in hazardous materials handling or spill response preferred
