POSITION TITLE: Sales Manager – Universal Joint Shafts
COMPENSATION: Competitive Salary DOE + Bonus

LOCATION: Houston, Texas
SUMMARY: Primary customer interface responsibilities for promoting the product line. Provides technical as well as commercial sales support and product selection.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and maintains new as well as existing customers (End-users, OEM’s, Consultants & Distributor) accounts
- Analyze customers’ technical specifications for drive components in industrial drive applications
- Provide engineering assistance, technical and product presentations. Establish and review on an annual basis agreed targets for the product line.
- Provide sales and marketing information as required; develop business plans, sales plans and forecasts.
- Participating at industry trade shows
- Maintains all sales activities and customer relationship management through company salesforce CRM program.
- Support marketing companies when projects are of an international scope with either end-user accounts, OEM accounts or engineering/consulting accounts are based in the USA
- Work with the After-Market Business group for replacements and retrofit opportunities
- Preparedness to work the occasional weekend as the job function requires, for instance exhibition attendance
- Special projects assigned by management
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of engineering degree from four-year accredited college or university preferred
- 5 years of relevant Product Management, Application Engineering and/or Sales experience in the Power Transmission Industry
- Experience in sales of high dollar value capital equipment or components (esp. in drivelines for torque transmission, such as universal drive shafts, geared spindles & couplings, bearings and work rolls located in metals processing, cement, paper and various industries).
- Demonstrate effective communication & collaboration teamwork skills
- Good interpersonal skills: ability to build and maintain successful working relationships within the company, with the group team and with customers
- Ability to multi-task based on business needs
- Excellent time management skills and good written communication skills required
- Ability to work from home and/or office (good internet & cell phone service) required
