POSITION TITLE: Sales Manager – Pumps
COMPENSATION: Competitive salary + bonus + DOE

LOCATION: Houston, Texas
SUMMARY: Sales Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the activities of the sales team to effectively execute sales strategies that will maximize sales volume, drive targeted profitable growth and professionally develop the sales staff.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Construct and develop full sales network coverage for USA according to strategic plan
- Direct sales in high density areas
- Manufacturer’s representatives
- Evaluate existing representatives
- Execute existing strategic plan and provide feedback on progress and effectiveness
- Grow sales organization in line with vision and plan from global headquarters
- Developing Western US sales territory
- Focus on direct sales customers
- Focus on direct sales key markets (Refining and Chemical Processing)
- Negotiate and close sales
- Direct accounts
- Accounts of other team members, if required
- Rep accounts, if required
- Prepare sales presentations
- Set up and conduct lunch & learns with customers
- Conduct market research
- Obtain knowledge about competition and their developments (products and revenue)
- Shows and Exhibitions in the chemical and refining market, Industrial market
- North American Sales and Budget planning
- Training and coaching of sales network (Direct sales)
- Communicate with management
- Communicate / Coordinate international / global business as necessary
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 years’ industrial sales, preferably centrifugal pump sales in the chemical and petro-chemical market.
- MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
- Travel: Expected to be 60-80%
