Role and Responsibilities

McKing is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to support a project with MS Canada. This project aims to engage multiple sclerosis researchers towards developing a global prevention initiative. The Research Assistant will help to assemble several committees and be responsible for scheduling and communicating with committee members. Duties of the Research Assistant will include:
โฆ Coordinating the assembly and maintenance of several committees
โฆ Attending and notetaking for all project and committee meetings
โฆ Assisting with monthly progress report development
โฆ Coordinating logistics for virtual and in-person data collection activities 
โฆ Preparing reports to summarize findings
โฆ Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited school. Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to write and develop formal documents, ability to prioritize work, be detail-oriented, ability to perform work on short deadlines, and ability to multi-task and handle many items at one time. Candidates must have advanced computer skills with working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Teams.  Must be able to travel for one week for an international meeting.

Preferred Skills
โฆ Knowledge of multiple sclerosis or other neurologic disorders. 
โฆ Ability to work early mornings or evenings for international meetings.
