COMPANY OVERVIEW:   Our client’s technology is the safest, most efficient and environmentally friendly method for cleaning virtually any surface, including electrical generators, engines, mechanical equipment, bridges, ships, tanks, buildings, walls and ceilings.

POSITION TITLE:    Outside Sales

COMPENSATION:   Competitive salary + bonus + DOE

LOCATION:    Houston, Texas

SUMMARY:   The Outside Sales must be capable of prospecting, hunting, and nurturing existing accounts. Our sales division is seeking a sales representative to sell both products and installation services in the power generation, marine, petrochemical, downstream oil and gas and large commercial target markets

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must have a good working knowledge of industrial contacts in the Power, Oil & Gas, and Chemical Refining
  • Must be well versed in the following disciplines: sales in the industrial world, selling installation services, and/or sales in the building maintenance facilities arenas
  • Must have strong verbal and written communications skills, and ability to use computers and programs effectively
  • Must have a high mechanical aptitude and ability to think and make correct decisions in the face of changing conditions
  • Must have a desire and willingness to learn the particulars of our business, in different industry sectors
  • Must be willing to travel no less than 50% of the year (including nights, weekends and some holidays).
  • Must be able to conduct inspections of the equipment our client services, including but not limited to climbing high elevations, through tight spots.
  • Must have reliable and adequate transportation for travel through the assigned region.


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5+ years of proven sales experience meeting all the essential duties described
  • Preferred college degree in a business or construction related field.
  • Existing network of established contacts in South Louisiana region.
  • Must be able to pass background checks as required for entry into facilities along Gulf Coast.
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC card and Passport for potential international travel.
