POSITION: Operations Manager

LOCATION: Houston, Texas

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively track and maintain all active and upcoming projects.
  • Ensure completed projects are closed out appropriately, including customer sign-off where appropriate, invoicing completed, and any other closing activities as required.
  • Support the President in labor planning for the division, based on the portfolio schedule.
  • Ensure appropriate labor is forecasted and sufficiently acquired to staff scheduled projects.
  • Work with cross-functional team to ensure required labor resources are onboarded and offboarded as required.
  • Maintain updated list of all inventory management, ensuring accurate and current tracking of outbound and returned equipment.
  • Work with Operations Managers throughout to manage equipment inventory levels in support of projects across the company.
  • Ensure borrowed tooling and equipment from other offices is returned in the same or better condition than when received.
  • Ensure vehicles and shopping equipment are maintained and in working order.


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors’ Degree or an equivalent level of experience, with preference given to candidates with experience in the LDAR, Oil and Gas, Petrochemical/Nuclear Industry.
  • 10 years of experience in operations management, including Project Management and Turnaround Planning.
  • Strong client relationship management skills with an ability to manage service delivery and meet client commitments.
  • Strong cross-collaboration skills to support leaders across the organization on successful achievement of strategic business goals.
  • Skilled at delivering a portfolio of complex projects, on time, on budget, to specification.
  • Experience developing and managing operational budgets.
  • Well-developed communication, influence, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in coaching and developing employees to successful results.
  • Advanced vendor management abilities.
