Key Account Manager
COMPANY OVERVIEW: The client is the exclusive South/Central Louisiana Distributor for the pioneer & worldwide leader of industrial coatings and engineering composites that provide repair solutions for all industries on issues such as erosion, corrosion, chemical attack, and daily maintenance problems.
POSITION TITLE: Key Account Manager
COMPENSATION: Competitive salary + bonus + DOE
BENEFITS: Standard package
LOCATION: Baton Rouge, LA
SUMMARY: The Sales Executive must be capable of prospecting, hunting, and nurturing existing accounts. Our sales division is seeking a sales representative to sell both products and installation services in marine, petrochemical, downstream oil and gas and large commercial target markets in the southern parts of Louisiana.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must have a good working knowledge of industrial contacts in the Marine Industries, Oil & Gas, and Chemical Refining
- Must be well versed in the following disciplines: sales in the industrial world, selling installation services, and/or sales in the building maintenance facilities arenas
- Must have strong verbal and written communications skills, and ability to use computers and programs effectively
- Must have a high mechanical aptitude and ability to think and make correct decisions in the face of changing conditions
- Must have a desire and willingness to learn the particulars of our business, in different industry sectors
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5+ years of proven sales experience meeting all the essential duties described
- Preferred college degree in a business or construction related field.
- Must have existing network of established contacts in South Louisiana region.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required for entry into facilities along Gulf Coast.
