General Manager (at Shipwrecked Brooklyn)
Full-time: $59,000 salary
Schedule: 30-50 hours per week (must be available for evening and holiday hours)

Shipwrecked Brooklyn is a family entertainment center, with mini-golf, an arcade, a bar, escape rooms, food, parties and special events. Shipwrecked Brooklyn LLC is looking for an General Manager to assist with day-to-day business tasks for Shipwrecked Miniature Golf and Shipwrecked Escape Deck. (www.shipwreckednyc.com)
Responsibilities: (include but not limited to the following)
- Manages all employees to ensure the smooth and successful operation of the business. Including employee scheduling and payroll.
- Maintain the highest levels of customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Train new employees and update/train current staff on new policies and maintain a high standard of employee work ethic.
- Ensure all aspects of events are prepped and event spaces are thoroughly checked and meet and exceed ownership’s expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness standards for all areas of the venue including employee uniforms.
- Report daily to ownership any employee issues, building maintenance issues, etc.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints/comments.
- Promote a positive work environment.
- Handle scheduling / payroll.
Weekend work and late nights are required (because those are our busiest times) and this is a leadership role, so we expect you to be respectful, positive and uplifting to the staff!
We will require that you get a food handlers license from the city within 60 days, but don’t sweat it – we pay for the test, and we give you a big ol’ high five once you get your certificate.
