For 30 years, the company has published the premier magazine for the oil and gas refining, petrochemical, power, pulp and paper, and construction industries. 

POSITION TITLE: Editor / Content Strategist

COMPENSATION: Competitive Salary + DOE

LOCATION:League City, Texas

SUMMARY:Experienced writer needed immediately to join the Editorial Team for successful publishers focusing primarily on the Energy Sector for 40+ years. Our digital media channels reach over 1 million page-views online alongside 27,000 print subscribers with each print edition.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITES:

• Client facing / professional interpersonal abilities
• Highly developed writing and interviewing skills
• Excellent communications
• Must work within strict deadline environment and faced paced environment
• Positive contributions to Team effort
• Must be professional and courteous
• Publicist mindset
• Experience with AP Style
• Knowledge of petrochemical and refining industry is a plus

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years content writing or related field
• Background in journalism, communications, and/or public relations
• BA degree in related field
