SUMMARY:   We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of marketing strategies, coordinating marketing activities, and ensuring that our brand message is consistent across all channels. DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and campaigns
  • Coordinate and manage marketing projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives
  • Create and maintain marketing calendars, schedules and timelines
  • Develop content for various marketing channels, including social media, email newsletters, websites and print materials
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools
  • Collaborate with the editorial, design, and sales teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding
  • Manage and update the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers and promotional items
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities and customer preferences
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, trade shows and webinars
  • Maintain the marketing database, including contact lists and distribution lists
  • Support the marketing team with administrative tasks and other duties as needed


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing or a related role
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in the energy, manufacturing, or environmental industries
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices
  • Graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred
  • AP style writing 
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., HubSpot, MailChimp, Google Analytics).
  • Experience with social media platforms and content management systems
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
