Continuum Therapy Partners has an opportunity for a Vice President of Business Development for the south / southeast: Remote. Must reside in: FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, AL, LA, TX, OK.
Position Summary:
The Business Development Field VP is responsible for driving growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and expanding market presence within Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Kentucky. This role requires a strong understanding of post-acute care, healthcare services, and payer-provider relationships, combined with a hands-on approach to sales, relationship management, and operational strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans to increase partnerships with SNFs in assigned territories.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with skilled nursing providers, hospital networks, and referral sources.
- Drive revenue growth through contract negotiations and service agreements with SNFs.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, including administrators, directors of nursing, and ownership groups.
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, reimbursement models, and competitive landscape.
- Develop targeted sales strategies tailored to the regulatory and reimbursement environments in PA, OH, and KY.
- Identify emerging opportunities in value-based care, managed care partnerships, and alternative payment models.
Relationship Management & Client Success
- Act as a trusted advisor to SNF leadership teams, providing solutions that enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, clinical, finance, and compliance) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address concerns to maintain long-term partnerships.
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
- Stay informed on state and federal regulations impacting skilled nursing facilities, including CMS, Medicaid, and other payer requirements.
- Ensure business practices align with legal and compliance standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (MBA or MHA preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience in post-acute care, long-term care, or healthcare services.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of SNF operations, reimbursement structures, and healthcare contracting.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of driving growth and securing contracts in the skilled nursing sector.
- Relationship Building: Ability to engage with executive leadership, facility administrators, and healthcare professionals.
- Travel: Must be willing to travel extensively across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Kentucky.

- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to analyze financial and operational metrics to drive decision-making.
- Adaptability to evolving healthcare regulations and market conditions.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with managed care organizations (MCOs), ACOs, or value-based care initiatives.
- Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement models for SNFs.
- Established network within the skilled nursing or post-acute care industry in PA, OH, and KY.
