FTZ Coordinator
COMPANY OVERVIEW: Our client is an industrial warehouse operator located near the Port of Houston. The Company specializes in heavy lift services by operating indoor and outdoor cranes.
POSITION: FTZ Coordinator
COMPENSATION: Competitive salary + DOE

LOCATION: Houston, Texas
SUMMARY: To coordinate the admittance, Customs entry, export and inventory control of international shipments. Prepare Customs admittance, entry & international trade documentation for clients import shipments.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assign Zone admission numbers as well as Zone filing information
- Coordinate with the Customs broker regarding filing information
- Verify Master BOL’s and Customer information for Zone Entry
- Coordinate with Customs on all FTZ products for entry
- Submit and Verify 216’s if necessary for manipulation or destruction of zone merchandise
- Notify site managers of FTZ material arriving and provide packing lists
- Complete Receiving Reports and Billing
- Send Copy of Receiving Report and signed BOL to customer for concurrence
- If the material is destroyed provide Customs and customer proof of destruction
- If material is entered for consumption send customer copy of Outbound BOL
- If Material is exported verify the 7512
- List all values of Entries on the Master Zone list as well as dates of in and outbounds
- Keep all digital documentation in Job or Zone folder for reference
- Keep all Binders and manuals updated as well as employee list
- Create folder with all requested documents for Customs spot checks as well as compliance reviews
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years’ experience working in inventory control, warehousing, logistics, or customs role
- 1+ years’ experience administering a Foreign Trade Zone required
- 1+ years’ experience working directly with Customs & Border Protection required
