POSITION:  Millwright Superintendent

COMPENSATION:  Competitive salary + DOE

LOCATION:  Beaumont, Texas

SUMMARY: As Superintendent EPC you will oversee the total construction effort (building and site) to ensure the project is completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee total construction effort of the project
• Ensure company procedures and standards are maintained
• Direct and supervise all self-performed and subcontracted work
• Ensure the Health & Safety Plan is followed by all personnel on the job site
• Conduct weekly safety meeting and lead Onsite Safety Committee
• Prepare and maintain project schedule
• Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings
• Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents and subcontracts
• Monitor project costs and identifies areas for improvement
• Oversees project specific quality control plan

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 15 years of construction superintendent experience leading project $3-$10Mil in scope
• 10+ years’ experience with different types of self-performance work: site work, foundations, structural steel, process equipment, material handling equipment, process piping, pre-engineered metal buildings etc.
• Experience with Steam Turbine 1 & 2 installation and final alignment including foundation prep, Gas Turbines 1-5 installation and final alignment including foundation prep, ACC Fan alignment and pith setting, Fin fan alignment and pitch setting, Boiler feed water pumps installation and final alignment
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents.
