POSITION TITLE:   Sr Estimator

COMPENSATION:  Competitive salary + DOE

BENEFITS:  Standard package

LOCATION:  Beaumont, Texas 

SUMMARY:  The Estimator position works closely with Project Managers to determine the costs associated with completing the scope of work in a tender. This position is responsible for completing quantity take-offs, preparing cost estimates, organizing bid bonds, communicating with sub trades to determine the financial needs of completing a project.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Extract data from construction drawings and documents
• Input data that is extracted
• Complete understanding of scope of work
  Know and understand the needs and requirements of the client and company
• Estimate required material for tasks
• Correspondence with clients for pricing requests
• Turnover of job scopes to project managers
• Inventory and order material as needed
• Works under the direct supervision of the estimating manager
• Attend job walks and bid meetings
• Complete takeoffs for projects

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ years estimating experience in the refining and petrochemical industries. 
• Pipe and vessel fabrication experience a must
• Ability to work with or without direct supervision
• MS Office experience (Excel, Word) required
• Ability to read construction drawings (Isometric, P&ID, etc.)
