Facility Maintenance Technician (at M Factory)
Full-time: $20/hr + Benefits
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (applicable to change)

Description
The facilities maintenance technician is responsible for helping to keep the production facility in good working condition. While under the supervision of the R&D/Machine Technician Lead, the facility maintenance technician will help to identify potential hazards, offer solutions, and make repairs to both the workspace and the machinery.
Responsibilities
- Establish a daily routine for facility maintenance
- Air Compressor start up and shut down (as a backup for CNC Operator)
- Beginning of day facility check
- End-of-day facility check
- Routine maintenance of equipment, machinery, and facility
- Daily Tumbler room maintenance
- Daily Compression of cardboard via Compressor
- Daily carboard & Waste disposal
- Organization and inventory of tools and storage
- Coordinate intra-office moves
- Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency
- Maintain good standing with punctuality, attendance, and timesheet responsibilities
- Back-up duties: Start-up and shut down of air compressor and dust collection system
- All employees should be aware that from time to time the necessity may arise where they may be asked to assist where needed should priorities change
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in facility maintenance or similar occupation
- High school diploma or associate degree
- Spanish language skills are a plus
- OSHA certification is a plus
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Effectively investigate and solve problems
- Proactive and independent thinker, able to take initiative and work efficiently with little direction
- Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to Operate warehouse machinery
Work Environment
- The physical demands that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job include frequent standing, walking, and using hands.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
