Construction Manager

POSITION:  Construction Manager

COMPENSATION:  Competitive salary + DOE

LOCATION:  Pasadena, Texas

SUMMARY:  Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review JSA’s for all ongoing jobs daily
• Review manpower daily to be sure there are enough people for the job and insure we are not over manned
• Review job pack with superintendents
• Meet with customers
• Do safety audits at each job visit
• Report all on safe acts on any job site to construction manager
• Help with labor estimates from time to time
• Establish a solid relationship supervisors
• Make sure all trucks and trailers are properly maintained and report to construction manager any changes.
• Reads and understands field operations manager duties listed on field operations mangers duties job description

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years operations management experience within the refining and petrochemical industries
• Cooling Tower experience is a plus
• Experience in industrial construction for both new construction, turnarounds or industrial services
• Strong background with managing day to day operations, contracts, project controls, scheduling, estimating and manpower
• Good financial savvy; strong communication, presentation and planning skills
