POSITION:  Industrial Service Manager

LOCATION:  Deer Park, Texas

SUMMARY: Demonstrate the ability to understand projects from inception through completion including estimating, contract negotiations, execution of work, tracking costs, managing budgets, working with client reps for contract compliance including change orders, addendums, and retention releases. Mentors project staff and works with all operations departments and personnel to identify mentoring and advancement opportunities.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attending and reviewing safety audits performed within the H&S group.
  • Assist in development, review, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and JHA’s to be used throughout the Region.
  • Meet with Safety group weekly to discuss concerns and identify issues and or positive interactions occurring in the field.
  • Ensure all field staff and managers are implementing the safety culture required.
  • Audit and review project tailgate meeting forms and meeting held onsite.
  • Implement and Monitor Replicon Program with new/current employees ensuring requirements.
  • Profit and Loss
  • Meet weekly with accounting and unit leader to review projects including Profitability,
  • Billings, outstanding billing and or change orders.
  • Take feedback from that and meet with Project Managers and field staff to problem solve and provide feedback for projects and lessons learned.
  • Job Walks Means and Methods Personnel assignments.
  • Scope and cost review / acceptance


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-10+ years’ experience in environmental construction, demolition, industrial services, or related field.
  • Hazardous Materials Specialist (10yrs)
  • Experienced in Level A, Level B and Level C work operations.
  • Working Knowledge of Confined Space Entry and Rescue
  • Knowledgeable with RCRA waste streams and Hazardous Waste regulations 49 CFR DOT & 49 CFR EPA
  • Knowledgeable with TSCA Waste streams
  • Experienced in Lab Packing.
  • Working knowledge of unknown chemical identification (Haz Cat System) or equivalent
  • Preferred candidate should have a strong background in Emergency Spill Response
  • Proficient in Computer programs MS Word, Excel, and MS Project
