COMPANY OVERVIEW: Leading provider for maintenance services in the chemical and petrochemical industries, energy and utilities, pulp & paper, and manufacturing industries.
POSITION TITLE: Business Development Manager
COMPENSATION: Competitive Salary DOE + bonus

BENEFITS: Standard Package

LOCATION: Southeast US (covering the Southeast US region - MD, VA, NC, SC, GA)

SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing new client contacts. 

Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability both short and long term
Develops personal action plan to penetrate new markets
Maintains key customer relationships while developing and implementing strategies for expanding the company''s customer base 
Secure strategic agreements with priority target clients and maintain detailed client records and account plans for key accounts
Conducts research to provide business and market insight that will drive business direction and decisions
Researches and reports on industry, competitor and client data.
Develops presentations for target customers and facilitates the process to understand the key value-proposition points
Collaborates with other departments as appropriate to develop strategic perspective on new markets or technologies
Assists with preparation of management reports.
Observes and complies with all safety rules.

Required Skills:  
10+ years sales experience selling to the power and pulp & paper industries
Industrial construction (maintenance and small cap projects) or soft crafts experience a must
Maintains a strong base of customer relationships in the TX / LA gulf coast region 
Experience selling at a corporate / national accounts level a plus
Driven, growth mindset, strategic, partner with operations
Experience with contracts negotiation, management, and long term service agreements.
Self-starter, strong interpersonal communication skills with all levels of colleagues, comfortable working with executive management.
Willingness to work both independently and as a team to meet quick deadlines and objectives.
Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills required.
Bachelor''s Degree Preferred
